February 25, Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA) Packaging Company established in Suzhou Industrial Park, which is the largest new plant project in the Asia-Pacific region that invested by SCA, the initial investment reached 20 million U.S. dollars. Mr. Wang Jianghua, the deputy Secretary of Suzhou City, secretary of the Work Committee of the industrial park and the Asia Pacific Group CEO Rijk Schipper attended the foundation stone laying ceremony. CPPCC Standing Committee and vice chairman of the Economic Committee, chairman of the Federation of Chinese packaging Mr. Shi Wanpeng and the Consul General of Sweden in Shanghai Lars Andreasson were also invited to participate in the activities. SCA Company was founded in 1929 and is a multinational company that produce of absorbency sanitation, printing paper and packaging supplies, the headquarters is located in Stockholm, Sweden. And the park covers 70,000 square meters, which scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. Completion of the new factory will provide the customers with a variety of corrugated board, packaging cartons and protection products, packaging printing services etc.
